❓ Frequently Asked Questions

This page covers the most common questions about the Dropsy Protocol, the $DROPSY token, airdrops, vesting, and technical integration.

🧩 General Questions

What is Dropsy?

Dropsy is the token distribution layer for Solana, enabling secure, scalable, and customizable airdrops for creators, protocols, and communities.

Who can use Dropsy?

Anyone:

  • Project founders
  • NFT collections
  • Developers
  • DAOs
  • Token creators

If you need to distribute tokens Dropsy is the right Choice.

The SDK and documentation are fully open-source, so anyone can review, audit, or integrate with Dropsy.

The smart contract program itself is not open-source at this time, though it will be fully auditable and tested.

πŸͺ™ $DROPSY Token

What is the $DROPSY token used for?

  • Fee discounts
  • Boosting visibility of airdrops
  • Affiliate level upgrades
  • Ecosystem priority access
  • Governance
  • Staking (not guaranteed)

Will the token have staking?

Staking is not currently planned or guaranteed. If implemented in the future, it could potentially be used to:

  • Reduce platform fees for creators and users

  • Boost farming points in the ecosystem

  • Gain priority access to upcoming features and programs

Is there a fixed supply?

Yes. Total supply is 1,000,000,000 $DROPSY.

🎁 Airdrops & Claims

How do airdrops work on Dropsy?

Dropsy distributes tokens using:

  • Merkle proofs
  • Bitmap accounts
  • Optional vesting schedules (not yet available)

This ensures claims are cheap, secure, and scalable.

Can creators choose whether an airdrop is vested?

Yes, creators can configure:

  • No vesting
  • Linear vesting
  • Step-wise vesting
  • Curved vesting

Why is my claim not working?

Common reasons:

  • The airdrop has ended
  • You’re not included in the merkle list (not eligible)
  • Your wallet already claimed
  • Your wallet may not have enough SOL to cover transaction fees

Check the airdrop page or contact the creator.
